Jonathan Lopez is a student in the Graphic Design department at the University of Houston.
His project, Glioblastoma, is a creative map of the abstraction of life between the first symptom of brain cancer until death. This creative map is a personal document of the recollected conversations, statements, quotes, thoughts, and geographical accounts of a cancer victim over the course of a 4 month period of time. This piece can be folded up into a booklet documenting quotes from the victim, family, and doctors. The color palet was chosen to represent the brain as a living organ being overtaken and the paper to represent the translucency of brain tissue and thought.
